Kaelen Vyr

Kaelen Vyr was born in 622 KM, son of Rovan Vyr and Elen, brother of Lira. As a child he watched his father — poisoned by the Seep — kill his mother and sister, and survived his father''s hands only because the village broke down the door.

The village kept him, pitied him, then tired of him. The boy''s grief turned to violence, and the village''s patience turned to fear. In 638 KM, at sixteen, he was falsely blamed for a school fire that killed two children and thrown into the Void by a lynch mob — the Void Exile Scandal. The real culprits confessed three days later. The gate had already closed.

Kaelen survived the Void, guarded in secret by the father he hated, and inherited Rovan''s deck when Rovan died for him. He came back carrying both. His rage at the world that discarded him made him an easy find for Seran Null, who did not offer him pity — only direction. Kaelen followed the Void Cult''s shadow out of the Expanse. What is known of him beyond this is not yet written.
