In this world, everyone is human. Magma, Sound, Cyber, Storm, Soul, Eclipse, and Void affinity do not turn people into other species; a lineage leaves its mark on the body, perception, culture, and a person''s relationship with cards — but it never removes their humanity.

Being born into a lineage can grant natural harmony with its element, yet no element is closed to outsiders. Education, discipline, and seal-reading knowledge always matter more than blood.

The Unbound — people with no natural elemental affinity — make up the majority of society. They build balanced relationships with the Ancient Cards and are often the most open to learning across element traditions.
