Magma

Magma was the first element ever sealed into a card. It emerged after the Ember Rift of 318 KM, when the crust of Kharuun split, lava rivers reached the surface, and the survivors found that fire no longer treated them as fuel.

Magma is not the rage of open flame. It is the weight of heat held down for a long time — pressure, patience, and endurance given form. Its culture reflects that: the Magma Lineage values a kept word, inner discipline, and the crafts of stone, metal, forge, and obsidian.

In card work, Magma effects tend toward slow force rather than quick sparks: grounded strikes, obsidian wards, heat that builds and does not forgive.
