Ember Rift

In 318 KM the crust of Kharuun tore open. Lava rivers reached the surface, ash winds buried towns, and the region burned for days that survivors measured in lifetimes.

It was the first of the Seven Catastrophes, and it produced the first element. Those who came out of the fire changed — among them Kharven Drax, who would seal Magma power into a card, and the brothers Draven and Marek Oris, who walked out of the flames untouched and drew very different conclusions about why.

Kharuun still carries the wound, and the Magma Lineage still carries Kharuun.
