Kharven Drax

Kharven Drax was born in 294 KM in Kharuun and was a grown man when the Ember Rift split the earth in 318 KM. He survived it, and he did something no one had done before: he carried what the catastrophe left in him into seal work.

Drax is counted among the earliest Magma masters — the first generation to prove that an element could be sealed into a card at all. The techniques were raw and the failures were ugly, but the principle held.

The patient, grounded style of Magma card work — pressure held and then released — is usually traced back to Drax''s early seals.
