Kharuun

Kharuun is where the first of the Seven Catastrophes struck. In 318 KM the Ember Rift tore the crust apart; lava rivers reached the surface, ash winds buried the old towns, and the survivors became the first Magma Lineage.

The land still carries the wound: obsidian ridges, lava fissures, underground passages, hot stone bridges, and settlements lit by ember-light rather than lamps.

Kharuun''s people are famous for patience, endurance, and the crafts of stone, metal, and forge. Outsiders find the region punishing — the heat is constant, the ground is honest about nothing, and the local wildlife is armored like the rock it lives on.
