Cyber

Cyber came from the strangest of the Seven Catastrophes. In 341 KM a brief contact with a parallel reality dropped a fragment of that other world into Virex. The event was never fully explained; the fragment is called the Parallel Shard, and its source remains one of the world''s open secrets.

The contact left permanent marks on the people of the region — in their nerves, their perception, and the way they read seals. To the Cybers, reality is sometimes a readable order and sometimes a corrupted reflection of one.

Cyber culture prizes information, analysis, and system-thinking. Cyber card work leans on seal-reading, copying, scanning, and shielding — precise effects other lineages sometimes find cold, and quietly envy.
