Velora

Velora is one of the best-known crossroad settlements — places that grew strong after the Card Wars as proof that different lineages could share streets without sharing bloodshed.

It is not a great political center. Daily life, trade, basic card education, small crafts, and local security are woven together here. The town keeps a modest card market, an Ancient Card training ground, and a local company of the Crossroad Guardians.

Two rules shape life in Velora: cards may not be used inside the city, and the Returned from the Void are tolerated but quietly kept at arm''s length. The first rule is law. The second one is habit, and habits are harder to repeal.
