Shard Researchers

The Shard Researchers exist to answer one question: what is the Parallel Shard? Generations of study have produced maps, measurements, theories, and no answer.

The order blends scholarship and mysticism, which embarrasses both camps and works better than either alone. Their stated aims: determine what the Shard is, understand the Cyber transformation, learn whether parallel contact could happen again, and chart the limits of Cyber card work.

Their research stations dot Virex. Their archives are the deepest in the world on exactly one subject, and the Shard has kept its silence through all of it.
