In 690 KM one of the Void passages turned dangerous, and the world briefly stopped arguing. The Card Masters Council, the Crossroad Guardians, the Void Hunters — Veyros Cal among them — and the Asterion Pact acted as one to seal the gate.

The operation succeeded, and its aftermath reshaped policy: Void research fell under far stricter oversight, gate-adjacent ground went under standing watch, and cooperation across factions became precedent rather than exception.
