Elyndra

Elyndra was a region of music long before it was a region of mourning. Crystals grew through its villages and sang; the people learned rhythm before they learned words. Then, in 327 KM, the Crystal Scream came — the frequencies deepened into something that could shatter glass, minds, and bodies.

The survivors'' descendants are the Echo-Bound, for whom the word is sacred and hearing outranks sight. The region itself remains half-wild: giant crystals rising from the ground, echoing streets, caves that vibrate, and an acoustic unease that keeps casual travelers away.

The crystals still sing. Whether the song is beautiful or unbearable depends, the Echo-Bound say, on whether you came to listen or to take.
