Deck Culture

A deck is a collection of many single-use cards. Since every card is spent when activated, a deck is a diminishing thing by nature — which is exactly why deck inheritance means something more than the paper.

Carrying someone''s "deck legacy" does not mean their cards last forever. It means inheriting their production technique, seal style, card selection, and the worldview those choices encode. Reading a stranger''s deck is reading their judgment.

The best-known example is the heaviest one: Kaelen Vyr carries the deck of his father Rovan — at once a survival kit and a trauma he can hold in two hands.
