The seventh entry in the records of the Seven Catastrophes is unlike the other six. No land split, no sky cracked, no song turned lethal. In 421 KM, for the first time, a court sent a criminal through a Void Gate as punishment — and called it exile.

The gates themselves open rarely and on their own schedule, appearing like a cut in the air above the Null Expanse. What changed in 421 KM was not the gates but the people: the world decided the other dimension could be used, and the Void Exile became its heaviest sentence.

The Void entered common history through that decision. Those who later returned — by the one door the Void allows, the wounding of an Orvath — came back changed, and society branded them the Diminished. The last element was born not from a disaster the world suffered, but from one it chose to hand out. The catastrophe records keep it seventh on the list, and historians keep arguing that it belongs there most of all.
