lowCrivell are small insect-like creatures that live in the crystal cracks of Elyndra. Individually they are harmless and nearly silent; in a moving swarm they produce a sharp collective hum that carries for miles.
Elyndran travelers learn the pitch changes: a low swarm is passing through, a rising one has been disturbed, and a shrieking one is a reason to run.
