Nature of Power

In the earliest age, people tried to control raw magic directly. It behaved like a natural disaster wearing the shape of a gift: unstable, destructive, and crushing to the body. Many who tried died, lost their minds, or ruined what they meant to protect.

Seals were the answer — symbol-structures that guide raw power instead of wrestling it. The first seals were worked into stone, bone, wood, and metal.

Cards are the final step of that account: seal knowledge made portable, storable, and transferable. What began as a survival technique became a civilization''s foundation.
