The Eclipse-Born came out of the Eclipse Night of 397 KM, when Salmora hung between day and night for days. Their culture was forged on that threshold.
To them, light and darkness are not enemies but parts of one whole. They avoid absolute judgments, weigh both faces of every question, and make natural mediators — respected arbiters in some cities, suspected fence-sitters in others.
Their reputation cuts both ways: communities that value balance seek them out, and communities that value certainty keep their distance.
