highThe Veydrin is a long-bodied hunter of the Void — nothing about it reads as animal, and less as human. Its method is disorientation: prey loses its sense of direction, then its sense of distance, then its options.
Survivors describe running toward safety and arriving at the Veydrin. The advice of the Void Hunters is unhelpful and accurate: do not be where a Veydrin is.
